President and CEO
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Skyline Petroleum Services, Elias Shaheen sets the strategic direction for technology-driven petroleum services that deliver excellent results for customers and stakeholders. He leads with a clear vision focused on disciplined execution, innovation, and trusted partnerships across the global energy sector. With deep technical roots in geophysics and a career spanning upstream operations, oilfield services, manufacturing, and petroleum data/technology, he is known for aligning people, capital, and strategy to perform in complex, high-stakes environments—supporting discoveries and long-term asset development in major North American basins while building enduring commercial relationships across the Middle East.
Mr. Shaheen’s track record reflects a consistent focus on building platforms, opening markets, and delivering measurable commercial impact. From 1978 to 1990, he led exploration and production initiatives with Amoco Production Company (now BP), contributing to multiple oil discoveries in the Permian/Delaware Basin of West Texas and the Michigan Basin. He later founded AIT Inc. (1990) and Skyline Petroleum Services (2002) and has driven growth across oilfield services, manufacturing, and energy technology as a founder, owner, and executive. His leadership roles include serving as President and co-owner of Primateck (1994) in seismic cable manufacturing and leading Applied Digital Technology in oil-related data management, as well as launching Middle East Logging Services through a joint venture with Halliburton. He has advised and partnered with Pennzoil Middle East, Kerr-McGee, and Schlumberger (Dubai), and supported high-value engagements including a ConocoPhillips project in Syria associated with $500MM in investment and Halliburton business development in Kazakhstan contributing to several billion dollars in revenue. His leadership and investment experience also includes Geokinetics (geophysical services), advancing offshore opportunities with Scorpion Offshore Drilling across North Africa and the Middle East (including a UAE contract), and serving as Vice President and co-founder of Business Development at Flamingo International, supporting production operations in the Permian Basin and East Texas.
He holds a master’s degree in Geology/Geophysics from The University of Texas and completed doctoral-level coursework in Geophysics at the Colorado School of Mines. At Skyline Petroleum Services, he continues to advance technology-enabled solutions and field execution that help clients move faster, operate smarter, and achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes.
