Production Manager

Mike Harrison is a senior energy executive with more than four decades of executive leadership and technical engineering experience in domestic and international oil and gas operations. His background spans operations management, drilling and production, project execution, negotiations, and new venture development across North America, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Mr. Harrison is the Co-Founder and President of TransAtlantic Energy Solutions, a global engineering and operations consulting firm. His prior roles include Vice President of Operations for Stratum Energy in Romania, where he managed onshore drilling and production operations, and Director of Business Development for SonicEOR, supporting the commercialization of enhanced oil recovery technologies. He also served as Deputy Incident Commander and Operations Section Chief during the Deepwater Horizon response, overseeing large-scale emergency operations across multiple U.S. Gulf states and interfacing with state and federal regulators.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Harrison spent twenty years with Amoco Production Company in a series of senior international leadership roles, including Asset Manager and interim President of Amoco Colombia Petroleum Company. His experience includes major capital project negotiations, field development, pipeline and facilities construction, production optimization, and crisis management. He has also served on the board of, and as Vice President of Operations for, publicly traded exploration and production companies. Mr. Harrison holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University and is semi-fluent in Spanish.
